1. Information We Collect

DesiRank (desirank.lol) is a public pay-to-rank digital discovery platform for Indian builders and tech startups. When you interact with our platform, we collect the following minimal data:

• Public Listing Information: Startup website URL, X (@handle) username, public company name, description, logo/favicon image URL, and city.
• Payment & Billing Details: Razorpay Order IDs, Payment IDs, transaction receipts, and timestamp. (We never collect or store your credit card numbers, UPI PINs, or bank account credentials; payments are processed directly by RBI-authorized payment aggregator Razorpay).
• Analytics & Anti-Abuse Telemetry: Hashed/anonymized IP addresses for 15-minute sliding-window rate limiting and bot filtering, user-agent strings, and outbound referral click counts.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used strictly for the following purposes:

• Displaying your startup listing and rank publicly on the billboard.
• Generating cryptographic payment receipts and maintaining an immutable transaction ledger.
• Preventing malicious traffic, automated crawler inflation, and click-fraud.
• Attributing outbound referral clicks with transparent UTM parameters (`ref=desirank.lol`).

3. Data Protection & Security

We implement industry-standard cryptographic protections, including HTTPS encryption, timing-safe HMAC-SHA256 signature verification, server-side secret isolation, and Row Level Security (RLS) on database storage hosted on Supabase.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with trusted third-party providers to power core functionality:

• Razorpay: Payment processing and UPI checkout.
• Supabase: Scalable PostgreSQL database with parameterized queries.
• Vercel: Edge hosting, CDN, and SSL termination.
